Well according to the article the Forest Service doesnt know who converted it, they were sold as normal Jeeps according to the manufacturer.

Definitely a less-common CJ. Perhaps the only model with even less awareness would be the bizarre CJ-10.

Well the article says they didnt come like that from Jeep, and the Forest Service doesnt know who modified it but it was theirs.

True, but the CJ-6 in general is pretty much like a TJ Unlimited. Long wheel base but two doors.

Oh I see, the silver one down below claims the hard top is factory. Maybe they are only talking about the aluminum Defender style roof portion. Someone did that for headroom maybe. Did they have the FJ40 troop seats in them as an option or is that part of the mod? I see a kid in this yellow one and it looks like a normal back seat. All three of these hard tops and doors are different.
